In celebration of the launch of the NEW Cool2Craft Newsletter at FaveCrafts.com, Their giving away a Spellbinders Grand Calibur. If you have never seen the Grand Calibur in action – check out this cool video review by Terri O.
The Grand Calibur™ is the latest in Spellbinders™ line of innovative cutting machines. It is compatible with all Spellbinders die templates. The Grand Calibur accepts 8½ x 11” paper without trimming, as well as cuts or embosses up to 8⅛” wide with the turn of a handle. With an integrated handle design, and weighing only 10 pounds, the Grand Calibur is portable and convenient to use anywhere. It has a stability base that keeps the machine in place during use. Die cutting and embossing sandwiches are easy to stack with color coded plates. Using the same two-pass process as the Wizard™, (cut on one pass, emboss on the other) the Grand Calibur allows so many more die templates on the larger plates. Perfect for Grand Nestabilities®! Larger shapes offer endless possibilities for scrapbooking, school projects, mini albums and more! Compatible with Sizzlets, Cuttlebug, and Quickuts dies, as well as Cuttlebug Embossing Folders and Fiskars Texture Plates when used with the W-025 Raspberry Spacer Plate. A larger mat is in production.

Joan's Gardens #4 Weekly Card Challenge

Here is what you need to do for Joan's Gardens Weekly Challenge #4....
    1.  Use Yellow and Green for your colors
    2.  a piece of trim
    3.  a frame to call attention to your focal point
    4.  embossing

Believe it or not the card stock I use is a peal Yellow from Bazzell!! In the picture it looks more like gold.
I used my hero stamp of a daisy and embossed it with green embossing powder
from The Powder Keg. I added the diamonds on the corners, they wore the leftover pop outs of my lotus die cut from Spellbinders and the buterfly stamp came from Gina K stamps from stampTV.
The Sweet Stop has a new challenge and I decided to use the sketch that they provided. When I saw this sketch, I fell in love with it!!! Isn't it an awesome sketch!!
